They are deployed in response to unpredictable absences, vacancies, and/or fluctuating acuity. In return, float pool staff is compensated for their expertise and flexibility to meet these ongoing demands.Critical care float RNs are trained to staff-Surgical Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit, and Intermediate Care UnitMedical Intensive Care Unit, and Intermediate Care UnitHeart and Vascular Intensive Care Unit, and Intermediate Care UnitNeuroscience Critical Care Unit (blended Intensive and Intermediate Care Unit)Adult Emergency DepartmentAdult Perianesthesia UnitOrientation is completed in partnership with the Nursing Education and Professional Development specialist who will evaluate and monitor your growing clinical skills while guiding your unique associated education.Self-scheduling occurs in conjunction with the organizational timeline and simultaneously with core units.This role is perfectly suited for RNs with solid experience looking for variety, autonomous practice, and a challenging landscape.
