Learn from some of the best in the industry, our work can be seen in some of the most prestigious sites around Maryland, Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia Essential functions Prospect and qualify new sales leads Track all sales activity in the company CRM and keep current by updating account information regularly Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and current customers Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions Meet and / or exceed sales quotas Local representation at industry association and client events Competencies Provide outstanding customer service and demonstrates that the customer always comes first. Displays a positive, constructive, “can do” attitude. Uses sound judgment and discernment skills. Takes ownership for one’s own performance and is actively engaged in becoming proficient at their job. Ability to understand how one’s tasks and responsibilities are related to other departments, the company business, and the local flooring industry. Strives to proactively identify potential problems and offers or suggests effective solutions Requirements: Education and Experience levels preferred: 1 year of experience in Outside Sales, Business Development, or Account Management. Industry experience in Construction - working with General Contractors Experience working with developers Flooring Experience preferred Must have reliable transportation, strong time management and organizational skills. Have & maintain a valid Driver’s License & Auto Insurance Technologically proficient, including e-mail, tablets, smartphones, applications, etc. Highly motivated, focused and target driven with a proven track record in sales. Excellent selling, listening, communication, and negotiating skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills
