Company: Commercial and Industrial Thermal Solutions, LLCHours:
1st ShiftSummary:Assist in a wide variety of laboratory tests on
assigned projects. Assist in fabrication and testing of prototype
commercial/residential boilers. Conduct tests and record data in
accordance with procedures outline by advisory or regulatory
agencies.Assist with request for technical assistance from
customers and salesperson concerning Burnham produced products and
or services. Able to travel out of state on short notice.Essential
duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.Set up boilers and burners according to standard test
procedures of ANSI/CSA (American NationalStandard), IBR (Institute
of Boiler and Radiation Manufacturers), SBI (Steel Boiler
Institute), or similar advisory or regulatory agency.Conduct tests
and record data in accordance with procedures outlined by these
agency requirements.Fabricate simple parts and models from drawings
for prototype testing. Perform basic pipe fitting, welding,
assembly and adjustment of units to obtain proper operation.Wire
electric controls for burners and boilers to insure proper
operation and safety.Assist in other laboratory functions as
required, including maintenance and calibration of equipment and
general clean-up.Coordinate and communicate all activities and
recorded data with engineering team in clear manner.Competencies:To

certification from college or technical school; or three to six
months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide basic numbers
without the use of tools. Should be confident using pencil, paper,
and calculator for larger numbers. Have a basic understanding of
fractions and decimals. Ability to compute percentages and
interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common
sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,
oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving
several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer
Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
a basic understanding of email management, word processing,
spreadsheets, file sharing, calendars, and video conferencing.Other
