Job Description:

The Workforce Analyst collaborates with team and business leaders on information needed for making human capital decisions. They support executives on workforce analytics, project and engagement planning and participate in the development of staffing models, metrics, reports, presentations and dashboards. With a focus on cost optimization and employee acquisition and retention, the incumbent collaborates with partners regarding the use of systems programs, software and other tools associated with workforce planning and analytics.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze data related to the workforce in order to support staffing decisions
  • Manage staff scheduling on engagements by Service Line and provide productivity and availability reports for each department
  • Provide strategic and tactical planning and trend analysis to ensure achievement of service line objectives resulting in positive customer and staff experiences
  • Complete data driven reports highlighting areas on improvement and areas of opportunity with respects to Productivity, Time Usage, Quality and other essential data
  • Collaborate with HR related to staff forecasting, onboarding, development and turnover
  • Ensure work is allocated as evenly as possible
  • Understand the Firm's strategic and operating plans, cost targets, and workforce utilization requirements
  • Gather necessary data and conduct needs assessments, staff modeling and cost of workforce assessments
  • Participate in change management efforts where workforce systems need to be configured to support evolving business needs or changes in processes
  • Support design of KPIs that serve as catalysts for change by helping leaders and managers make data-driven decisions about their workforce
  • Other duties as assigned
    Education, Experience and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
    • 3+ years' experience in workforce or business analysis role, preferably within a professional services firm with scheduling responsibilities
    • Demonstrated experience in data collection, problem-resolution and solution-driven environment
    • Prior experience in trending and statistical reporting preferred
    • Proven ability as a detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to prioritize, summarize and analyze data
