Job Description Collaborate with Business Analysts to elicit, author, review, and improve user stories, which should include functional description and acceptance criteria Ensure that User Story grooming sessions are managed and planned with an effective backlog plan for the sprint team. Work with Product Owner to manage the backlog and develop User stories aligned to the roadmap for the program Escalate and follow-up in a timely manner on any issues that might impact the overall project quality. Contribute user experience design, user experience style guides and development of overall application patterns Embrace Scrum practices and methodology as dictated by SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) procedures Develop appropriate working relationships with IT and non-IT target groups in organization. Actively support reuse and sharing among teams located in US and India. Qualifications The ideal candidate would possess : Knowledge of existing laboratory process and procedure. Knowledge of highly regulation documentation practices like GXP. Experience developing User interface and related requirements for business applications involving web applications with complex business processes. Knowledge of User story development, Story Boarding process, and history of taking high level requirements and transforming into scrum stories. Excellent English communication skills (clear, concise technical writing and effective verbal communication) including ability to present User stories to teams, provide business background and detailed support for team questions. Very good interpersonal relation skills at all levels of the organization Ability to work in a complex international environment At ease with distant communications leveraging a wide array of technologies (shared code, documents and forums, phone, chat, e-mail) Experience in usage of Tools like Requisitepro/Jama for Requirements management, Visio, TFS, SharePoint etc Excellent analytical skills which allow quickly identifying gaps in specifications and code Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Basic Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major) Working Experience in Agile Scrum Process model At least four years in an IT environment preferably in an industrial or process driven environment and ideally in the life sciences. Past experience as a Business Systems Analyst for at least one year with track record of results. Additional Information Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with the possibility of some overtime.
