specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from
concept to completion. Many programs require a significant
investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the
project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an
experienced project management specialist who can help ensure
success through careful analysis and effective communication.On our
team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in
support of the Navy. You'll work with key stakeholders to review
contracts and project cost accounting. You'll help with tactical
planning using resources like Microsoft Project and regular
interactions with shipyards, schedulers, senior civilian and
military officers, and other contractors.The real impact of project
management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves

- 8+ years of experience with ship production or the shipyard,
working through all phases of design, construction, delivery, and
acceptance
- 5+ years of experience developing and coordinating event and
data-driven presentations that inform senior leaders on the
financial, schedule, and risk status of ongoing projects relative
to established plans that not only inform leadership, but also
drive decision-making
- 5+ years of experience providing support to government clients,
operating in a fast-paced, team-oriented dynamic environment where
product quality is key and done consistently at a high level with a
bias for action
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft products such as
Project, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Word, Excel, Visio, and
PowerPoint
- 3+ years of experience supporting RFP development
- Knowledge of acquisition guidance such as 5000.2G, including
working with Statements of Work (SOW), CDRLs, and other contract
artifacts, and how these documents interact with one another
- Ability to be a self-starter to exceed client expectationsNice

- Experience with engineering in an academic environment
- Experience managing multiple projects within scope, budget, and
timeline
- Ability to read and comprehend ship construction drawings,
schematics, and technical manuals
- Possession of strong organization, management, and
communication skills
- Possession of strong detail-oriented, multitasking, and
customer service skills
- Project Management Professional

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience,
and organizational requirements. The projected range for this
position is $77,600 to $176,000 annually. This posting will close
