Background: United States Army Chaplain Corps builds Army spiritual readiness to deploy, fight, and win our Nation's wars, by providing reliable and relevant world-class religious support, as a unique element of the Army that is fully engaged across the full spectrum of conflict. The Office of the Chief of Chaplains, (OCCH) provides religious services and support to the command as an instrument of the U.S. Government to ensure that Soldiers' religious "free exercise" statutory rights are protected. This job requires technical, analytical, educational, and administrative services in support of emerging information management requirements for the OCCH and supporting directorates. Requirements:

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer.
  • Ten 10 years of relevant Army logistics experience
  • Must be able to attend in-person meetings in the National Capital Region (NCR). Education: Bachelors or relevant Army training for midlevel NCO or Officer Duties:
    • Support tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of religious support property supportability and/or maintainability programs. Work with logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of religious support logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; and life cycle cost analysis and control.
    • Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, and apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data and information.
    • Develop, modify, prepare, and validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
    • Perform equipment inventory verification; identify and notification of damage or missing equipment.
    • Provide support for the life-cycle replacement of all equipment to include receipt, recording, storage, movement, installation, consumption, utilization, maintenance, physical inventory, security, disposition, loss, theft, damage, destruction, decommissioning and turn-in. *Position is contingent on contract award. -Summit is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
