success.Job Description Summary:Faegre Drinker has an opportunity
for an Information Governance Coordinator to work with our
Technology, Information Security & Information Governance team. In
this role, you will focus on the retention and disposition of
inactive or dormant client matter information and business records.
This position works with other talented individuals who share a
passion for doing great work in the best interest of our
clients.Job Description:What you would do:Review vendor Off-Site
Storage and Secure Disposition Services (SDS) invoices for accuracy
and contract non-complianceUnderstand key components of the firm's
Information Governance ("IG") framework with an emphasis on the IG
Policy, retention schedules and standard operating
proceduresCoordinate and collaborate with IG and firm personnel to
ensure that all business records and client information designated
for retention to off-site storage is properly preparedExecute an
effective system of controls for the retention of business records
and client information in all contracted commercial off-site
governance repositoriesPrepare and properly retain accurate
documentation, including statistics, trends, and performance
metricsContribute to training initiatives and awareness campaigns
to promote professional obligations and best practices specific to
proper retentionRetain detailed and diligent records of vendor
service activity patterns, costs, trends, and metrics for budget
and resource planning purposesEffectively communicate and
articulate responses to internal client inquiries regarding policy
and procedure - as it pertains to retention and dispositionAcquire
and maintain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the
off-site storage and Secured Disposition Services (SDS) service
level agreements with contracted vendorsDevelop proficiency in the
use of firm systems including Microsoft Suite applications, IRM
(records management system); iManage (document management system)
and FileBridge (off-site storage and shredding vendor web portal),
and the web portal interface of the department's dedicated file
folder vendor.Special projects and other duties as assignedWhat is

ManagementProficiency using Microsoft Office applications is

high-volume off-site storage holdingsWillingness to maintain
continuing education and training specific to professional skills
development commensurate with the Information Governance and
