That makes us who and what we are a boiler company that is singularly focused on the needs of our customers.Summary:Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered toPosition raw material into machine fixtureInspect finished parts with precision and measuring toolsCheck machine to ensure that it is operating with specifications with the assistance of et up or supervisor if needed.Check output to spot and machine-related flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain a clean and organized work area and routine maintenance as instructed by supervisorContinue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools.Assist in changing fixtures, part holding, and tooling to machine parts as necessaryPerforms related work as directed commensurate with this or lesser rated labor grade.This job description written above is not all-inclusive, bit is illustrative of the duties and responsibilities involving the required minimum skills and aptitude and any duty as instructed by supervisorsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractures and decimals. Ability to compute rates.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills: Basic knowledge; ability to operate scannersCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift licenseOther Skills and Abilities: Basic blueprint reading; use and understanding of measuring devices; use of mobile deviceSafety Requirements: Protective Footwear Ansi Z41 Class 75, hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, neoprene/insulated gloves for filling LP cylinders and cloth or leather work gloves.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
