Ashfield Engage has a long-standing partnership with a leading Biotechnology company, across Commercial, Patient Solutions and Medical Affairs businesses.We are looking for performance driven and ambitious individuals who can achieve sales and activity targets on assigned territories across primary and specialist care customers and meet all relevant standards as set by leadership.This is your opportunity to join Ashfield Engage and represent a top biotechnology company!What's in it for you?Competitive compensationExcellent Benefits - accrued time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability & life insurance, employee discounts/promotionsGenerous performance-driven Incentive Compensation packageCompetitive environment with company wide recognition, contests and coveted awardsExceptional company cultureRecognized as a Top Workplace USA 2021Recognized as a Great Place to Work in November 2021What will you be doing?Work alongside client field counterpart(s) to increase share of voice, help open and maintain access, profile, and create demand of targeted healthcare professionals as neededDevelop a sound understanding of the relevant product(s) and disease(s) to lead engaging conversations with medical professionalsFacilitate account management skills (account planning, field resource coordination; close, support customereducation and promotion needs, reporting).Demonstrate effectiveness working independently and in team environments.Establish phone presence; commanding & disarming, ability to create rapport, network, build, and maintain productive business relationships.Demonstrate clinical and technical skills.Adhere to new therapeutic areas and channels of business and adapt to organizational change.Leverage and use customer networks, resources and tools via phone/web to expand connectivity, reach and interest across stakeholders.Identify, prioritize and drive opportunities to create access, policy, programs and processes that drive product demand.Verify and complete required data entry including details of the target's responses, notes and any follow through actions in accordance with policies and procedures set by the client.Manage daily sales call activity to optimize time and maximize the achievement of sales and market share objectives.Successfully complete the Client's product training (self-study, testing, field work and classroom training at the Client's site or electronically) and meet training expectations set by the Client in order to proceed to servicing the Client's customers within the parameters of the program.Create and maintain a positive impression with the Client and the Client's customers.Execute sales strategies in compliance with Federal Healthcare Program requirements, FDA's promotional regulations, and Client policy.Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).What do you need for this position?Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.Experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred (18+ months, non-scripted, documented success).Experience in Direct sales (cold calling, customer service solutions, customer service).Previous experience in account/contract-based selling to organized customers such as, hospital accounts and integrated delivery networks is a plus.Competitive & OutgoingStrong clinical aptitude as demonstrated by documented sales resultsAbility to learn scientific information and be able to educate other people on itInvolvement in extracurricular activities/programs (fundraising, sports, management/leading groups)About AshfieldAshfield Engage, part of Inizio, is a global leader in commercialization services for the healthcare industry.
