Founded in 1978, High Steel Service Center, an affiliate of High Industries Inc., has a 200,000 square-foot facility with 150,000 tons of capacity. A full-line metal processor and distributor, High Steel Service Center offers carbon steel, aluminum flat-rolled, and stainless steel products.We are currently seeking Operators to operate our MultiCut Blanking Line (MBL) and Stretcher Leveler machines, on our 2nd shift team, in Lancaster, PA.Coworkers can earn at least $20.50/hr , after successful completion of their 90-day probationary period, and receive a $2/hr shift differential.At High Steel Service Center, our Machine Operators work four (4) 10-hour days: Monday - Thursday from 3:00 pm - 1: 30 am.Overtime may be required on Fridays from 3:00 pm - 9:30 pm, as well as occasional Saturdays from 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.Our next team members will possess the following educational and work experiences:High school diploma or GED requiredStrong mechanical ability requiredExcellent math, measurement, and recordkeeping skills requiredAbility to operate material handling equipment (overhead crane, side loader & forklift) requiredComputer literacy needed to keep accurate inventory records and for light data entryKnowledge of coil processing preferred.Working for The High Companies:At High Steel Service Center co-workers always come first.
