Eurofins offers a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.In 2020, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR --- 5.4 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :Responsible for resolution of all un-applied transactions to include maintaining provision for bad debt records, actual bad debt records, and recovery of bad debt records; maintain accurate records of clientsProcess and reconcile invoices and payments on a timely basis with the Accounts Receivable module balancing to the general ledger at end-of-monthPrepare monthly general ledger entries for sales, and intra/inter-company sales and work in progress within four business days following month-endProvide Business Units aging of their accounts receivable on a weekly basis or as requested by the managersReview documents and post all payments to accounts receivable computerized system and communicate with the client when necessary; review, process, and post receivable invoices for monthly sales/revenueAssist in the development of accounts receivable procedures; recommend more accurate or efficient accounts receivable proceduresMaintain a list of past due invoices, updated on an ongoing basis in order to answer questions about the status of past due accountsMaintain open communication with all employees and managers in a manner, which encourages communication of informationWork with outside auditors in a professional mannerMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work spaceEnsure that confidentiality regarding employees, clients, or vendors is not disclosed to anyone except as authorized by corporate officialsFollow all Eurofins Scientific, Inc.'s guidelines and proceduresMaintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness to respond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, and coworkersPromote the company image through the exercising of sound and ethical business practices as related to the public and its customersQualificationsThe ideal candidate would possess :Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesAssociate's degree or some college training preferredExperience with Accounts Receivable accounting on a computerized system (Great Plains preferred) in a multi-state corporate setting, familiarity with sales and use tax, word processing, spreadsheets, office equipment, and general office administrationExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsResponsive problem solver and action-orientedBasic Minimum Qualifications :High school diploma or equivalent and one to two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
