Position Overview

This position oversees engagement with government agencies and communicates company priorities to proactively advance Harbor Compliance priorities. This is a new position reporting to the Director of Marketing, formalizing a function that is key to our strategy to continue our rapid growth trajectory. Success is measured in building great win-win relationships with regulatory professionals that make it easier on both ends for our clients to achieve compliance.


  • Build and maintain relationships with government representatives and regulators at the federal, state, and local levels. Emphasis is placed on the state-level and includes secretaries of states and professional licensing boards.
  • Communicate company priorities to proactively advance Harbor Compliance priorities. Travel as necessary to attend meetings, participate in communities, or other events to represent and advocate for the company.
  • Handle escalations from our staff in partnering with agencies on behalf of our clients.
  • Monitor regulatory updates that will impact the compliance work we perform for our clients.
  • Consistently exercise independent judgment, ethics, and discretion in matters of significance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in Government Relations experience.
  • Independent work ethic.

Location and Hours

Open to a remote position for candidates located anywhere in the US except for New York or California, with travel required as necessary to meet business objectives. Local candidates near or willing to relocate to our Lancaster, PA headquarters are preferred.
