Responsible for developing and implementing reporting to drive business results and ensure fact based analytics are utilized. Functions as the Data Steward for Commercial data used throughout the corporation as it relates to core system output accuracy and integrity and working with architectural, quality, and control stewards to achieve robust reporting solutions. Ensures that appropriate validation and controls are built into data related processes to ensure that data integrity is maintained. Makes recommendations to Commercial management team regarding projects as a technical resource during system enhancement reviews, consolidations/acquisitions, and other projects as needed.Position can be located in Lancaster, Doylestown, or Philadelphia Pennsylvania.Performs importing, transforming, cleansing, or validating data files. The delivery of data may take the form of charts, graphs, or tables. Using approved data analysis and statistical methodologies (explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining).Perform data cleansing, ensure the quality of data, quality of measurements and initial transformations, determine the characteristics of data sample including correlations and cross tabulations, provide thorough documentation, and ensure the accuracy of results. Deep data analysis using approved methods to ensure data integrity and apply sound testing techniques to ensure data accuracy and documentation of those results.Provide consistent, timely and accurate reporting and project management deliverables. Assist the Commercial Quality Program on all initiatives with a focus on qualitative and quantitative data methods. Understand qualitative data techniques, further bifurcation as Nominal, Ordinal and Binary. Understand quantitative data techniques, further Discrete or Continuous.Identify root causes of issues within current processes and reporting, key metrics, trends, and recommendations related to the various activities. Collaborate with management and assist with implementation of strategic solutionsConvert the amalgamation of data from multiple sources into actionable and strategic insights. Interpret ambiguous data reporting into easy to understand and be able to articulate to senior management and key stakeholders the true value in the analysis.Familiar with Agile methodology, discovery phase project management process (Discovery Phase project development process includes defining the purpose, requirements gathering, sitemap, architecture build specifics, value proposition, and overall project delivery)Ensure data metrology from systems of record are standardized and normalized to ensure repeatable outcomes for metrics reporting. Establishment of routine and scheduled date reporting to business partners.Handle ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by senior managementEducationBachelor Degree or the Equivalent Experience. Specialty: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, other technology-related discipline. (Required)Master Degree or the Equivalent Experience. Specialty: Business or Engineering focus. (Preferred)Experience5 or more years Financial Services/Bank data analysis. (Required)2 or more years utilizing statistical analysis and data integration tools. (Preferred)CertificationsAssociate Certified Analytics Professional (aCAP). (Preferred)This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
