GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Processor is responsible for supporting title and escrow
functions including pre-closing and post-closing duties while
coordinating with agents and lenders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Prepare the preliminary settlement statements
Coordinate closing of transaction with applicable parties, such
as agents and lenders
Order necessary items for transactions, such as condo/HOA
statements, tax certifications, payoff statements, surveys, and
Process incoming and outgoing recordings
Prepare and make bank deposits and disburse funds in accordance
with the signed settlement statement
ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum of 1 year industry experience performing the
title and escrow duties of this position
Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous,
fast-moving environment, demonstrated resourcefulness in setting
Notary or ability to obtain within 30 days
Demonstrated effective customer service experience to a diverse
audience to enhance service delivery, with an emphasis on excellent
Carries out duties in compliance with all federal and state
regulations and guidelines
Complies with all company and site policies and procedures
Remains current in profession and industry trends
Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by:
Making suggestions for improvement
Learning new skills, procedures and processes.
Is available for other duties as required
Is available for overtime as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have high school diploma or general education diploma
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES OR QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of title industry software, RamQuest preferred
Familiar with title and escrow regulations in the state where
Familiar with E-Recording if applicable, Simplifile
Successfully completes regulatory and job training
Enter data into computer using software applications for data
entry and word processing.
Work and be proficient with e-mail systems
Industry experience using the MS Office suite of applications
including Word, Excel, and Outlook in the preparation and execution
of your duties and responsibilities
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining speed of
work and attention to detail without loss to production
Ability to work with others in a team environment
