About the Role The Inventory and Warehousing Manager for Tate
Americas is the enterprise owner of inventory and warehousing
governance across all Tate Americas locations. This role is
responsible for establishing the standards, controls, systems, and
performance management framework that govern how inventory is
received, stored, counted, valued, and reported across the
business. This role ensures that Tate manages inventory
consistently, accurately, and in a way that protects working
capital, service levels, and audit integrity. What You’ll Do
Inventory Governance and Financial Controls Develop and implement
inventory control procedures to maintain accurate records of all
stock levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and
finished goods. Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or
stockouts, ensuring optimal stock levels for smooth production and
order fulfillment. Collaborate with procurement and production
teams to forecast demand and align inventory with production
schedules. Working with financial controllers, own the warehouse
quarterly inventory coordination plan for each Tate US site and
driving improvements on accuracy %. Own enterprise inventory
accuracy, valuation, and integrity across Tate Americas. Lead
identification and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.
Own shrink, scrap, and inventory write-off governance in
partnership with Finance. Establish and oversee cycle count
strategy, physical inventory processes, and reconciliation
standards. Ensure segregation of duties and inventory control
requirements are in place at all sites. Serve as the primary
operational partner to Finance for inventory-related balance sheet
and audit matters. Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action
for KPI gaps across sites. Warehouse Operations: Establish and
maintain standard enterprise processes for receiving, storage,
picking, cycle counting, inventory adjustments, transfers, and
reporting across all Tate Americas locations. Define and enforce
warehouse and inventory control standards that all sites are
required to follow. Monitor compliance to these standards and drive
corrective action where gaps are identified. Partner with Plant
Management to ensure site-level execution aligns to enterprise
inventory and warehousing requirements. Process Optimization &
Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in warehousing and
inventory processes, including layout optimization, stock
management techniques, and technology upgrades. Implement lean
warehousing principles to minimize waste, reduce lead times, and
improve operational efficiency. Leverage data and analytics to
optimize inventory turnover, reduce carrying costs, and improve
service levels. Work closely with the BI/IT team to implement or
improve Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory
tracking tools. Team Leadership & Development: Lead inventory and
warehousing performance through influence, standards, and data.
Partner with Plant Managers, Operations leaders, Finance, and
Supply Chain to drive compliance with inventory and warehousing
standards. Provide training, guidance, and tools to site teams to
improve inventory discipline, accuracy, and control. Logistics
Coordination: Coordinate with the logistics and transportation
teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods to customers
and between company locations. Ensure smooth and efficient inbound
and outbound logistics processes, minimizing delays and shipping
errors. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers
(3PLs) to ensure high levels of service and cost-effective
warehousing solutions. Assist in setup and management of last mile
warehousing near large project sites. Compliance & Safety: Ensure
that all warehousing operations comply with local, state, and
federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
Implement and monitor procedures for the handling of hazardous
materials, if applicable. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure
warehouse environment. Reporting & Analysis: Own enterprise
inventory and warehousing KPIs, including inventory accuracy,
inventory turns, days on hand, excess and obsolete, stockouts,
audit results, and inventory-related expedite spend. Develop and
maintain an enterprise inventory and warehousing dashboard reviewed
monthly with Operations and Finance leadership. Lead root-cause
analysis and corrective action for KPI gaps across sites.
Additional Expectation Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct
and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to
in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws,
Regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to
achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management
System. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management
System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the
Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower
service. What You’ll Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply
chain management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related
field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS
certification in CPIM, CSCP) are a plus. Experience: Minimum 4-5
years of relevant experience in inventory management, warehousing,
or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or
industrial environment. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of
warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
(e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Knowledge of Infor XA
preferable Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong
analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to
problem-solving. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
for working with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of health and
safety regulations in a warehousing environment. Preferred
Qualifications: Experience implementing lean warehousing or
continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in using inventory
management tools and systems to track and optimize stock levels.
Experience managing relationships with third-party logistics
providers (3PLs). Experience in managing logistics for companies in
the construction space. Work Environment: This is a full-time
position that requires a combination of office work and hands-on
management in the warehouse. Occasional travel may be required to
divisional sites to support. What You'll Get Pay range: $140000 USD
to $160000 USD. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
