$17/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Job Summary
The Shipping Clerk ensures accurate and timely preparation of
outgoing orders. This role supports daily warehouse operations by
verifying documentation, staging materials, and coordinating
shipments to meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities
Review orders to determine completed and pending steps required to
fulfill shipments. Work with expediters to determine appropriate
shipping methods. Double-check outgoing shipments to ensure
accuracy of counts, part numbers, and shipping details. Stage,
prepare, and secure materials for shipment, including shrink
wrapping, banding, and labeling. Verify and document quantities and
descriptions of pulled materials. Operate a forklift to move,
stack, pull, place, or load materials. Relocate completed orders to
designated locations. Maintain a clean and organized work area,
including end-of-shift cleanup. Required Experience Experience
working in a warehouse, distribution, or shipping/receiving
environment. Prior exposure to order processing or fulfillment
tasks. Nice-to-Have Experience Experience using warehouse
management systems (WMS) or ERP tools. Experience preparing
shipping documents such as packing lists or bills of lading.
