Job Description Job Description Warehouse Operations- Department Supervisor Full-Time | Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday (6pm-2:30am) SUMMARY Position reports to the department manager. Assist the department manager in directing and coordinating activities of the Operations Department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain proper staffing and proper coverage for the outbound work load - responsible for assisting in interviewing candidates and communicating with Human Resources regarding candidate feedback and hiring Assist is training and management of staff Ensure that all proper procedures are upheld consistently via department monitoring & random order audits Ensure that all orders are processed at the end of the shift Maintain clear communication with all departments and the sales force - written & verbal, via email , in-person or phone Predict and communicate any issues or problems Navigate virtual meetings, email, department software & Zoom phone Attend meetings with Management, compiling updates for the group and providing solutions to issues that may arise Attend & assist with daily team meetings Works directly on floor with staff in operations helping to keep things running smooth and serve as a positive example Ensure that the safety expectations are enforced. Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Second Shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations during the evening shift. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and safety, and supporting efficient order fulfillment. Schedule: Second shift (exact schedule may vary) Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support warehouse associates during the second shift Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed accurately and on time Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching Enforce company policies and safety procedures Communicate shift performance, issues, and needs to management Assist with inventory control, shipping, and receiving as needed Who is Colonial Electric?
