We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer skilled in designing and architecting modern web applications. This role supports our Web Enterprise team in developing software tools that power our proprietary CRM platform and support sales and research teams across platforms like Homes.com, CoStar.com, Apartments.com, LoopNet.com, and more. The position is based in Richmond, VA, with a schedule of Monday-Thursday in-office and Friday remote.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engaging, responsive, and high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  
• Build reusable, scalable, and secure UI components and libraries with a focus on maintainability and performance.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers to transform business needs into technical solutions.
  
• Contribute to and maintain shared component libraries and front-end architecture.
  
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using tools like Jest and React Testing Library.
  
• Participate actively in code reviews, pair programming, and agile ceremonies.
  
• Mentor other developers and become a subject matter expert in front-end technology stack.
  
• Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices to enhance our technology platform and development practices.
  
  Qualifications
  
  
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited, non-profit university or college.
  
• 3+ years of production experience using modern front-end frameworks.
  
• Strong proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
  
• Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and security best practices.
  
• Experience working in Agile environments and in unit, performance, and automation testing.
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proven commitment to previous employers.
  
  Preferred Qualifications
  
  
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
  
• Experience with relational and document data systems (SQL Server, Dynamo, ElasticSearch).
  
• Familiarity with AWS services like S3, Lambda, SQS, Kafka, Redis.
