    Position Summary
    Responsible for the recruitment, training and verification of Therapeutic Foster Parents in the York, PA area, within the CRR/Host Home Model. Must have the ability to independently complete complex documents efficiently and assess strengths and weakness of individual families. Works as a member of the on-call support team for Therapeutic Foster Parents. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of foster parent applicants and verified families. Must be skilled / comfortable in making program presentations to small groups of people to promote the program / provide training.
    Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • To recruit high-quality Treatment Parents.
  • To organize effective Pre-service classes.
  • To ensure compliance with all state documentation for CRR licensures.
  • To ensure the safety, health and welfare of all children placed in a family foster home.
  • To publicly promote the programs of Pressley Ridge.
  • To promote ongoing training and knowledge for Treatment parent, as well as to assist them in maintaining licensure through receiving required training hours.

    Qualifications

    • Clearances. State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
    • Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

      • Working Hours. A flexible schedule that has potential for non-traditional hours.
        Qualifications
        EducationMasters of Human Services (preferred)
        Bachelors of Human Services (required)
        Experience1 years: Experience working in a Foster Care or Adoption setting with children/adolescence experiencing emotional/behavioral problems preferred. (preferred)
