-Position Overview:The Human Resources Generalist performs duties
at the professional level in some or all of the following
functional areas: talent management, employee relations, human
resources compliance, benefits, and payroll administration. This
position requires a highly perceptive person who can relate to
individuals at all levels within the organization while maintaining
strict confidentiality. -Responsibilities:
Administer and execute human resource
programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and
leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations;
performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and
morale; occupational health and safety; and training and
development.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local
employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices -
including supporting California-based employees and managers.Review
policies and practices to maintain human resources
compliance.Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory
changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent
management, and employment law.Coach and counsel employees and
managers regarding the administration of company policies and
procedures; assist in developing and implementing company policies
and procedures; prepare and maintain the employee handbook.Execute
and audit payroll, benefits, and other HR programs and recommend
corrective action as necessary. -Required Qualifications:
Solid understanding of organizational
policies, procedures, and practices, as well as current state and
federal labor and employment lawsAbility to lead the company's
Human Resources Compliance programDemonstrated experience
supporting employees and managers in all U.S. states and
jurisdictionsProven ability to manage multiple prioritiesRemain
focused under pressure and work extended hours as
requiredConsistently demonstrate the highest level of personal
integrity and ethical conductStrong interpersonal and written
communication skillsAbility to initiate and engage in conversations
about complex or sensitive topicsAbility to build relationships
with employees at all levels of the organizationComputer literacy,
including proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google G Suite
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years of HR
experience as an HR Professional -Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred
-Location and Hours:This is a full-time remote position. Travel may
be required up to 10%. Local Candidates are preferred.Note: This
position does not hire California, Colorado, or NYC residents.
