About Your Opportunity:
The Team Member Success Manager is a key strategic partner for leadership and a valuable resource for team members. Whether through talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management or giving leaders and team members the guidance that they need to be successful, the Team Member Success Manager is a knowledgeable and committed resource. The Team Member Success Manager will work closely with Wohlsen Leadership to recruit, retain, develop, and optimize the performance and engagement of individuals and teams. This team member will work innovatively to solve problems and deliver excellent HR services with quality and efficiency.
How You'll Contribute:

  • Source and recruit active and passive candidates in the construction trades and project management, estimating, engineering and related administrative positions in a Construction Management/General Contracting environment.
  • Create candidate pipelines and assess candidate qualifications, review candidate activity, including pre-screens and interviews.
  • Negotiate and close candidates with offers and starts
  • Manage the background checks and references process
  • Network within the local construction market(s) and affiliates (ABC, AGC, etc.)
  • Develop strong relationships with recruiting agencies, colleges/universities, and community organizations
  • Manage the Internship program to include job fairs (8+) at universities, as well as develop partnerships at career development offices of selected target schools
  • Create an online presence and employer value proposition on social media platforms to include LinkedIn, Facebook, Glassdoor, etc.
  • Assist with the onboarding and orientation programs, and other HR related projects and events
  • Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, and skills assessment and development
  • Conduct Exit Interviews
  • Monitor Performance Reviews in Kronos and flag development or performance issues so that training plans can be created to address the areas of concern
  • Lead the Career Mapping process for team members to ensure there's a development plan and goals in place for growth
  • Develop and maintain effective interviewing and hiring process to eliminate bias and select the most qualified candidates for all positions
  • Identify and surface trends in both qualitative and quantitative data to help improve organizational health on topics such as retention, employee experience, etc.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in Workforce Ready (HRIS) ATS, answering team member questions, ensuring adoption, and providing best practices

    • Reports to the Director of Human Capital Solutions
    • Provides support to the EVP of Corporate Services for special projects
    • Provides Leadership for the Internship Program
      Authority
      • Budget approval up to $2,500 on recruitment and development programsExpected Results

        • Minimizes expense of outsourced recruitmentQualifications:
          • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
          • 5 years prior experience in staffing agency, recruitment or human resources office
          • Experience in recruiting processes
          • Demonstrated experience in various HR functional areas, especially employee relations and change management
          • Ability and interest to work at all levels of HR - strategic, operational, and tactical
          • Strong reasoning, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
          • Driven to succeed - solutions oriented
          • Team player
          • Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills
          • Highly networked and a connector of the best opportunities to the best talent
            Physical Requirements
            In a normal day, this position requires 1-4 hours standing and walking. In a normal day, the employee must be able to sit for 7+ hours. In a normal day, the employee must be able to drive 1-4 hours. Employee must be able to lift/carry up to 10 lbs. maximum; occasionally carry small objects. The employee must be able to use his/her upper extremities for reparative simple grasping and fine manipulation. In this position, employee occasionally (0-
            33%) must be able to bend at waist, squat the knees, climb (including ladders), reach above shoulders, kneel, crawl, use feet (foot controls), and/or work at heights above 6 feet.
