This RN position in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) offers a dynamic opportunity to support surgical teams in a state-of-the-art setting. Situated in Arlington, TX, the role is based in a busy surgical unit comprised of 10 ORs, requiring flexibility with day and night shifts and occasional call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care with a focus on orthopedic and trauma procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success. Utilize perioperative protocols, technology, and documentation tools effectively. Maintain compliance with unit guidelines and dress code requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. Perioperative Nursing 101 completion is mandatory, with emphasis on orthopedic and trauma experience. Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) must hold certification and also have ortho and trauma experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor suited for a high-paced OR environment. Schedule: Shifts involve primarily day coverage, with some night shifts available. Call is required approximately 4 to 6 shifts per month. Weekend shifts and flexibility for on-call rotations are part of the role expectations.
