This role involves performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, including X-rays, MRI scans, and CT scans, using advanced radiographic technology. Our technologists are critical in providing top-notch patient care under the guidelines established by MedStar Health. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations like X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures. Maintain radiology equipment and report necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to evaluate the requirements of imaging and adhere to protective measures. Document all procedures and maintain patient records according to compliance regulations. Proficient in using radiologic technology and equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety and protective measures Ability to work collaboratively in a medical team Excellent communication and patient management skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current licensing as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Maryland
