Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for maternity leave coverage in a school setting for the 2026/2027 school year. This onsite role is located in Pottstown, PA, and focuses on providing specialized occupational therapy services to students. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy interventions designed to support student participation and academic success - Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) - Assess and document student progress through formal and informal evaluations - Implement strategies to promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence - Provide recommendations and support related to adaptive equipment and classroom modifications - Maintain compliance with school policies and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy Qualifications and Experience: - Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings preferred - Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational regulations - Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team - Experience in maternity leave coverage or flexible staffing assignments is a plus Location: Onsite in Pottstown, Pennsylvania This contract opportunity offers the chance to support students during a critical period while delivering vital occupational therapy services.
