Job Description Job Description Day to Day: Start of Day 7:30 AM Morning Huddle (typically 5–20 minutes). Review assigned work orders Prioritize daily workload Receive updates on site assignments or reassignment needs Daily Workflow Manage and complete assigned work orders independently. Day consists of Level 1–type biomedical work , including but not limited to: EKG carts Blood pressure machines Basic clinical diagnostic equipment Responsible for managing their own off?site schedule , including: Coordinating order of visits Traveling between sites Adjusting based on reassignment needs Position is largely off?site , rotating between Penn State outpatient sites. End of Day Document completed work, parts used, equipment status, and outstanding issues. Job description: One of Insight Global's Healthcare clients is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) Level II to support outpatient clinics across the Lancaster region. While the role is classified as Level II, the majority of day?to?day responsibilities consist of Level I biomedical support . This technician will work independently, rotate between multiple off?site clinics, manage their own schedule, and ensure equipment remains fully operational for clinical teams. Requirements: Requires an Associate degree at the minimum Although the role is scoped for a Level 2 BMET , the majority of daily tasks are Level 1 in complexity. Work primarily supports doctor’s office–type equipment across multiple outpatient locations.
