Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Minimum 2 years of experience required with previous travel experience preferred • Must have Level I trauma experience required (minimum Level II with >1 year experience) • Must have trauma and robotics experience (highly prefer thoracic and vascular experience) • Must be proficient with DaVinci Xi robot and bonus points for DV5 DaVinci robot familiarity • Must function independently in robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties • Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate • Work in general OR excluding open heart surgery and neurosurgery • Must function independently in all specialties: robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac), and trauma • 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (day, evening, or night shifts) • Holiday coverage as needed per department (day, evening, or night shifts) • 2-3 call shifts within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute callback response time • Maximum 7-day requested time off per contract • Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts • Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics • Work with 18 OR rooms in a 593-bed facility • Daily census of 50-60 patients • EPIC charting system experience heavily preferred • Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only) • Pennsylvania RN license required with no license hits accepted • Tobacco and fragrance-free facility • Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete) Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive Level I trauma center with advanced surgical capabilities including state-of-the-art robotic surgery programs.
