Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,793 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21287! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 7A/7P Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Experience in recovery of post-operative cardiac surgery patients in a dedicated cardiovascular ICU. License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: ACLS preferred Critical Care Certification preferred Trauma course preferred Experience in a dedicated open-heart unit receiving patients directly from the operating room preferred. Description: The cardiovascular surgical ICU is an 18-bed unit. It provides care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery. It also cares for patients undergoing cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2. Experience with ventilators, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), Swan-Ganz catheters, epicardial wires and pacemakers, titration of vasoactive infusions, Level 1 intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is required. 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse range of assignments on your resume showcases your adaptability, versatility, and resilience.
