Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our Inpatient Clinical Nutrition team. This role focuses on providing advanced medical nutrition therapy to adult patients, with a strong emphasis on Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (PEN) support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clinical excellence and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans for adult inpatients. Manage a daily caseload of approximately 10–12 patients , prioritizing those requiring advanced nutrition support. Provide expert guidance on tube feeding and parenteral nutrition regimens. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists to optimize patient care. Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely and accurate manner. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited dietetic internship. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required. Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of [Insert State], or eligibility to obtain licensure. 2–3 years of inpatient acute care experience required. Minimum 1 year of advanced nutrition care experience, including Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition support, highly preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult-only patient populations. Familiarity with nutrition support protocols and interdisciplinary care planning. Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation.
