Podiatric Surgeon (New Graduates are welcome to apply) Work
Locations: Lancaster, PA / Gettysburg, PA Employment Type:
Full-Time Shifts : Mon- Fri (8AM- 5PM) Job Description This is a
full-time on-site Podiatric Surgeon role. The Podiatric Surgeon
will be responsible for performing surgeries, treating various foot
and ankle conditions, conducting biomechanical assessments,
prescribing orthotics, and managing diabetes-related foot issues.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive podiatric care,
including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical intervention for a
wide range of foot and ankle conditions. Manage diabetic patients
with a focus on prevention, wound care, and complications related
to foot health. Evaluate and treat complex foot deformities.
Utilize expertise in biomechanics and orthotics to assess and
develop treatment plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Participate in on-call
rotations and weekend rounding when assigned. Maintain accurate
documentation and deliver high-quality patient care to all age
groups (0-100). Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine ( DPM )
degree. Completion of a Podiatric Surgical Residency program. Board
Certified or ABFAS Eligible/Qualified in Podiatric Surgery. Strong
surgical skills with experience treating complex foot deformities.
Knowledge of diabetes and its effects on foot health. Clinical
experience in biomechanics and orthotics. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
