This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where nurses care for a wide range of patients including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and trauma cases. The ideal candidate will bring strong critical care skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. -Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a wide variety of illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform critical interventions including medication titrations, arterial line management, mass transfusion of blood products, and chest tube care.
  • Triage patients and prioritize treatments based on severity of condition.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience..
    • Active Registered Nurse license in the District of Columbia.
    • Valid certifications:
      • BLS (Basic Life Support)
      • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
      • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
      • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
      • NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
      • Must be available to start within 7 days of offer.Environment & Patient Population:
        • High-acuity ED setting with critical care responsibilities.
        • Patient demographics include urgent care, psych, pediatric, and trauma cases.
