Job SummaryTact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN to join our team in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.Job DescriptionAs a travel nurse RN, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Your responsibilities will include:

• Consulting and coordinating with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Preparing and administering medications, and recording prescribed medications
• Educating patients on surgical procedures and providing bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients
• Initiating patient education plans, as prescribed by physicians, and teaching patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury
• Participating in discharge planning and utilizing time management skillsAs a travel nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing care to patients in a variety of medical settings. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, while also maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.RequirementsTo be considered for this travel nurse RN position, you must have:
  • 2 years of experience as a registered nurse
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
  • NIHSS certification preferred
