Job Description:

Seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join Keystone Urology Specialists! As an MA, you will be responsible for providing primary care, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation, to patients in our medical offices in Lancaster.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, no weekends or holidays.

An ideal person in this role is someone who is reliable, compassionate, patient, a team player, and strives to help the practice achieve its goals and provide "5-Star" service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provides quality patient care by adhering to practice guidelines, standards of care and federal/state laws and regulations
• Creates a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations; adheres to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Documents patient care services by charting in electronic medical records (Medent)
• Partners with others within the practice to improve patient care processes and outcomes
• Monitor and maintain inventory of nursing supplies, anticipate necessary supplies; ensures proper operation of medical equipment and completes preventative maintenance requirements
• Continue to build and maintain professional and technical knowledge in urology
• Creates a positive working relationship among the physicians and KUS staff; demonstrates respect; proactively communicates with others;
• Acts as a team player to help the practice achieve its goals and provide 5-Star service to our patients Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Experience in urology or clinical care in an office setting preferred
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Must be able to read, write, spell and type effectively and efficiently
