Job Description:

This position is responsible for: Managing and administering all investment activities within a Region Providing direction and guidance Setting and monitoring individual and regional goals in order to meet divisional goals and objectives Directing and guiding technical and highly skilled staff Serving on Product Review Committee Working with Manager of Retail Investment Services to train, motivate, and create teamwork between and among other regions. Serving as client relationship manager for large and complex accounts and for all non-qualified institutional accounts Communicating with the Regional President on business development activities Working as part of a team Working with onsite equipment STRATEGIC: * Developing regional business development plans with Regional President * Developing individual business development plans with individual representatives * Assisting with developing corporate strategies * Developing, monitoring and achieving regional performance goals * Assisting with setting corporate / personal goals and targets ADMINISTRATION: * Ensuring compliance with Bank policies and procedures * Ensuring compliance with Investment and Trust policies and procedures * Ensuring compliance with Federal / State regulations * Scheduling client meetings on periodic basis * Supervising the performance of annual investment reviews * Self-learning / knowledge of MS Office / Trust accounting system * Reviewing financial / investment markets daily * Managing department workload / workflow * Developing communication with internal business partners PRODUCTS: * Ensuring current knowledge of investment markets (stocks, bonds) * Overseeing Investment Management Accounts and IRA's * Overseeing Brokerage activities * Overseeing Insurance Activities NEW BUSINESS: * Cultivating potential referrals * Completing financial profiles * Analyzing customer needs * Recommending investment / insurance solutions * Performing presentations / meetings with prospects * Finalizing new agreements with customers * Cross selling other Bank products and services * Monitoring and reporting new business results to Senior Management PROFITABILITY: * Recommending profitability increasing alternatives for the Bank * Developing improvements to procedures * Developing appropriate customer service standards * Controlling and minimizing departmental non-payroll costs * Managing work hours and FTE's to control costs * Maximizing technology tools available * Recommending fee schedules developments / alternatives * Approving exceptions to standard fee schedules * Monitoring new business revenue * Assisting with constructing annual budgets * Approving and/or recommending expenditures * Implementing measuring and monitoring systems SAFETY/HEALTH: ? Providing leadership and positive direction for maintaining the safety and loss prevention program ? Actively participating in and supporting employee participation in the safety and loss prevention program by ensuring that employees know how to properly report a safety issue, making sure that all accidents are promptly reported to human resources and documented, and ensuring that prompt action is taken whenever workplace hazards are identified ?
