• Many More!Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join our manufacturing industry team. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the service department, including mechanics, warranty procedures, and customer service. You must have excellent leadership skills, be a great communicator, and possess a strong technical background.Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the service department, ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Hire, train, and supervise mechanics, ensuring they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Manage and oversee the warranty claims process, ensuring all claims are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Work with customers to resolve any issues or concerns they may have with their equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced according to the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Develop and implement service policies and procedures to ensure the department is operating efficiently.
  • Manage the department's budget, ensuring expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service work performed and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Ensure the service department is compliant with all safety regulations and guidelines.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in a service manager role in the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong technical background in mechanics, truck, and trailer maintenance.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage a team of mechanics and service personnel.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
    • Knowledge of warranty claims procedures and processes.
    • Ability to develop and implement service policies and procedures.
    • Strong budget management skills.
