Job Description:

Waypoint Detailed Delivery is seeking a REMOTE SITE MANAGER*Reports to: *Northeast Regional Manager*Supervises: * Assigned location staff around the Northeastern statesPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* Act as primary liaison to remote site locations* 1st point of communication for all situations regarding remote site locations* Ambassador for the Waypoint brand* Behave professionally at all times* Be polite and maintain composure* Exercise good judgment and communicate accordingly* Complete any daily data entry in Waypoint software and client software (if applicable)* Create work orders* Optimize daily workload in Waypoint logistics optimization software* Assign routes/orders to drivers (or oversee the process)* Work with designated client personnel as needed to ensure a successful partnership* Assist to create any SOP documents related to the account and enforce them when in place* Update, implement, and communicate procedural changes as needed* Provide agreed-upon reports to client as necessary o Take part in meetings as necessary* Investigate incidents and convey findings to Northeast Regional Manager for final resolution and report* Maintain confidentiality at all times. This includes company, client, and client customer/patient confidentialitySTAFFING* Provide leadership to drivers reporting directly to you (staff)* Lead by example and exhibit exemplary work habits* Train staff on all client procedures/equipment* Treat Waypoint staff with respect at all times* (Re-)educate and/or discipline staff in a courteous and professional manner* Coordinate employee hiring with Human Resources Manager* Relay staffing needs* Assist with interview process* Assist with onboarding process* Arrange for training* Dispense corporate property as needed* Create staff shift and on-call (where applicable) schedules to ensure all work is completed* Rearrange staffing when necessary to accommodate needs* Manage staff time system as it applies to* Missed/incorrect punches* Document and discipline as necessary* PTO requests* Participate in weekly PTO scheduling meetings to establish whether requested PTO can be accommodated while ensuring the companys labor needs are met* 1st come-1st serve. Resolve request conflicts* Staff call-offs* Report to management team* Arrange for and communicate alternate staffing to ensure all work is accounted for* Labor reports for upper management analysis (if/when requested)* Ensure that staff:* Follow and adhere to all corporate, DOT, OSHA and other regulatory agency policies and procedures.* Complete all required paperwork/electronic documentation accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner* Communicate regularly with logistics department upon arrival and before departure from each stop in accordance with the Waypoint Conversations training documentOTHER* Manage local vehicle maintenance program* Work with Northeast Regional Manager to rotate vehicles when/as necessary* Schedule and facilitate standard vehicle maintenance* Oil changes* Tire rotations* Work with operations manager to arrange vehicle repairs* Emergency management* Report incident immediately to Operations Manager* Coordinate towing and or vehicle/driver retrieval in the case of a breakdown or accident* Communicate with logistics staff regarding operational impact of any emergency incident* Oversee staff ride-alongs and/or audits* Any assigned duties which advance and grow the mission of the company through detailed work, diligent efforts and a positive and energetic attitude* Back up delivery staff (unless otherwise arranged with HR)* Other duties as assignedSKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE* Satisfactory driving record* Valid drivers license* Clean criminal background and drug screen* Capable of working independently* Excellent oral communication skills* Ability to read and follow detailed, specific instructions and/or exercise good judgment by asking questions* Ability to review facts, make appropriate decisions and convey correct and detailed information to staff and managementREQUIRED TRAINING* Familiarity with the Waypoints corporate policy manual* RUN OUR WAY! online training program commensurate with level required of Waypoint location staff* Waypoint Conversations driver-logistics communication expectations* Primary client-specific materials, SOP documents, technology guides, etc* Field training with experienced delivery staff, supervisors, and/or managers* Ongoing education as needed and/or requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* Ability to drive in all types of weather, including occasionally inclement weather (wind, rain, snow). Additional considerations and determinations are made based on each situation.* Safely drive for extended periods of time* Walk, sit, stand, reach, bend, as necessary* Lift and carry up to 75 pounds without injury or accidentTRAVEL* Routine travel within localized (hub) delivery areas.
