An employer is looking for a 100% Remote Regional Sales Manager in the Pacific Northwest area. The company is an international life sciences organization, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable. This role falls under the BioPharmaceutical Product Testing business unit.This individual will be covering accounts across the Northern CA region, which is an existing $12m book of business across multiple accounts. This is considered a senior-level territory with high potential opportunities as one of the companys largest biotech hubs. The RSM will maintain and grow existing accounts, as well as identify and develop new business within the territory. We are looking for an individual with experience selling small or large molecule, gene, or cell therapy testing solutions to pharmaceutical industry customers. They will be interacting with high-level scientists and business executives, so a strong scientific background and excellent interpersonal skills will be important.In addition to their base salary, RSMs are eligible to earn an annual incentive bonus of $50,000 at 100% of plan (which is typical) up to $97,000 at cap. High performing RSMs have moved into higher-level roles as Key Accounts Managers on this team historically.The RSM will be working remotely the majority of the time but will be expected to schedule and conduct 15+ face to face client meetings/technical visits per month, so we are looking for applicants in the PNW region who would be willing to travel for about 1 week out of each month. Travel expenses will be covered by the employer including flights if needed, accommodations, and a flat car allowance of $12,480 per year.- Experience working for an industry competitor- Experience supporting GMP analytical testing- Sales experience - understands prospecting and sales process- Scientific background- BS in science or technical academic area (bio, chem, ideal, math, engineering, etc. also work)- Strong client-facing skills
