Manufacturing experience a plusSUMMARY: The Information Technology Manager is responsible for providing network, server and end-user support; diagnosing and resolving IT issues; troubleshooting, configuring, updating and monitoring workstations, servers, and networks; ensuring security compliance and planning for continuity.THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.Responsibilities for this position include:Configure requirements for new computers so they can be submitted for quotes (standard desktop, standard laptop, specialty computer)Purchase, install, and manage computer software needed to run the business (MS Office suite, anti-virus, engineering programs, Adobe creative suites, ERP system, etc.)Set up and install new computers for end-users. Transfer files from old computer to new computer. Set up backup.Troubleshoot servers and network when they go down. Interface with the upstream internet service provider to troubleshoot internet connectivity problems.Perform regular installations and updates for IT hardware and software systems.Upgrade and maintain computer anti-virus/anti-spyware software on the network to ensure data security and protection.Manage administration of user accounts including email, ERP systems, remote access, etc.Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues.Provide end-user application training as needed..

Requirements:
If you have the following, we want to hear from you:Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Relevant certifications a plus (Network+, Security+, CCNA, CISSP)Experience: Four years of successful and progressive IT related experience with a demonstrated ability and interest to learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
