The candidate works on managing the end-to-end planning and implementation of high-impact engineering projects.The candidate will have the opportunity to work with highly motivated professional teams in a highly demanding, fast growing organization.Responsibilities:This role is responsible for providing business requirements, software requirements, project planning and will participate heavily in agile processes, while working with multiple stakeholders to achieve business goals and objectives to ensure that projects are completed to specification within an established time frame. This role manages all aspects of coordination and delivery including definition, planning, monitoring and customer satisfaction for engineering projectsManage, monitor and deliver multiple projects under the software engineering roadmapSchedule and deliver projects in a highly interdependent ecosystem with multiple stakeholdersDefine scope, effort and project timelineGuiding and performing features and time analysis for the projectOrganizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion including business requirements, software requirements, project plan and project trackingAssembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilitiesPlanning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of standard project communicationsProactively identify project delivery risks, establish mitigation mechanisms and communicate to appropriate stakeholdersExpert in creating project management artifacts (project charter, project plan, timelines, requirements documents, project and resource planning, deployment plans, support plans, conversion plans, user guides etc.)Establish delivery monitoring controls and governance mechanismsPreparation and presentation of decision-making material for managementProven ability to organize and motivate the project teamQualificationsDemonstrated technical project delivery experience leading multi-disciplinary technical and non-technical software engineering projects and resources in tandemThorough technical understanding of Software development life cycle and aspects of IT projectsProven analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be able to describe multiple business situations where these skills have been leveragedCommanding project leadership and follow-through with delivery team resourcesStrong customer focused, team oriented communication skills with emphasis on building lasting, trusted partnerships through written and verbal communications, presentations to managementAbility to work in an amorphous environment delivering results by influencing the assets outside the hierarchy setupSuccessful experience delivering results from geographically disparate teams, including both local and remote resources and contending for heavily-utilized centralized resourcesExceptional verbal and written communication skills with a track record of working with stakeholders and senior leadership within a cross-functional matrix environmentOther qualifications:Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field with relevant experience levels3+ years of working with software engineering, SDLC, SCRUM and Agile software development 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager of complex enterprise wide engineering projects8+ years of experience in Information Technology or relevant industryFamiliarity with relevant regulatory requirements in the Clinical Diagnostics Lab Industry (HIPAA, and GxP)Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or other project management toolsPMP Certification strongly preferred, Agile Certifications preferredWillingness to travel (20%)Additional InformationPosition is on site at our Lancaster, Pennsylvania facility.
