Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities include: - Electrical educational background - State-licensed Electrical Inspector (or equivalent experience) - NICET Level II–IV (Electrical) — highly desirable, CompEx (if available) - LNG Project experience - Knowledge and experience of working with NEC (NFPA 70, 59A), IEEE Standards (e.g., 80 grounding, 142, 1584 arc flash), API RP 540 / 500 / 505 - UL / FM equipment certification knowledge, experience on Inspection of Ex-rated equipment (XP, IS) - Knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, MCCs, Transformers, Motors (HV/LV), UPS, batteries, emergency power systems, Heat tracing (electrical) - Awareness of Instrument power and interface with E&I systems - Experience working for the Owner - Understanding of the Quality Management Principles - Intermediate IT Skills. - Experience in fabrication / manufacturing inspections What We're Looking For: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation or Power Engineering - Minimum 5 years of experience in similar inspection roles - Strong background in fabrication inspections - Expertise in Electrical/Instrumentation inspection per relevant codes - In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards - Proven ability to apply codes, standards, and project specifications LOCAL ONLY Company Description Created in 1828, Bureau Veritas is a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), delivering high quality services to help clients meet the growing challenges of quality, safety, environmental protection, and social responsibility.
