Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The HVAC
Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and
repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration
systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can
work independently and as a part of a team to ensure optimal
performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial
properties. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Install, inspect, and
maintain HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces,
ventilation systems, and refrigeration units Diagnose mechanical
and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs Conduct routine
maintenance checks, filter replacements, and refrigerant levels,
and lubricating moving parts Handle emergency repairs promptly and
efficiently Read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand
HVAC layouts Ensure systems comply with local and federal HVAC
codes and regulations Calibrate controls and thermostats for
optimal performance Provide accurate documentation of work
performed and parts used on company’s CRM system Communicate
effectively with clients and team members regarding job status and
recommendations Adherence to all Federal & State safety
requirements, including but not limited to the Company’s safety
programs and policies Education & Experience: High school diploma
or equivalent preferred Completion of an HVAC training program or
apprenticeship Valid HVAC license or certification 2 years proven
experience as an HVAC technician preferred Strong knowledge of HVAC
systems, tools, and repair techniques Ability to read schematics
and blueprints Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong understanding of plumbing and electrical Personal Behaviors:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable and
punctual with good communication skills Safety-conscious and
detail-oriented Able to work as part of a team and maintain a
positive attitude Maintains neat appearance and job site
professionalism Physical Demands & Work Environment: Must be able
to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds frequently Regularly required
to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl Ability to
work in confined spaces, attics, basements, and on rooftops Must be
able to work in extreme temperatures, including hot mechanical
rooms or cold outdoor conditions Use of hand and power tools for
extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting during
equipment or maintenance installation Work may be performed in
residential, commercial, or industrial environments Exposure to
dust, noise, hazardous materials, mechanical/electrical equipment
May require overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts
depending on workload and emergencies Other Special Working
