FireMon Network / Data EngineerOur growing company is hiring a
network/data engineer. We appreciate you taking the time to review

depending on your level of experience.Responsibilities for Network
/ Data Engineer
- Establishes networking environment by designing system
configuration and directing system installation.
- Defines, documents, and enforces system standards.
- Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and
outages and scheduling upgrades.
- Configures router.
- Updates data servers and network equipment.
- Collaborates with network architects on network
optimization.
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies
and defining and monitoring access.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating
in professional organizations.
- Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by
completing related results as needed.
- Analyze and correct all technical problems on equipment within
assigned customer accounts.
- Design, implement operate on data center network,
customer-connections and network security architecture.
- Gather and document requirements for design, code, integrate,
test, and implement commercial and customer automated systems.
- Perform packet capture and analysis to baseline network
performance and/or troubleshoot performance issues.
- Responsible for critical response for all related areas.
- Must have the clear ability to translate business requirements
into creditable, high quality and resilient designs based upon the
firm's roadmaps and standards.
- The Network Engineer conducts technology assessments.
- Plays a key role in project delivery lifecycle management
focusing on creating Detailed Implementation Plans for all design,
Test and Accept criteria, Back-Out and Validation plans and
procedures.
- The Data Network Engineer supports initiatives as they
transition between design, implementation and operations.
- Role performs Q/A function prior to every implementation
project.
- At times, the candidate may take part in service and business
management activities related to budgeting, RFI/RFP, service
planning.
- Must have extensive knowledge and experience using (both
reactive and productive) advanced tooling.
- Application experience with an innovation "mind-set" and how it
impacts how engineering work gets done is important.Qualifications
for FireMon Network Engineer
- Proficiency with EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP:
- Experience with Enterprise-level Cisco ISE configuration and
troubleshooting.
- Experience with Palo Alto, Juniper, Sonic Wall, network
integration is desired.
- Experience with Public Cloud environment such as AWS, Google
Cloud & Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Tracking Budget Expenses and Project
Management.
- Advance Network management including hardware and software
network management.
- Understand the FireMon Security Manager.
- Worked with FireMon Automation.
- Familiar with the FireMon Policy Manager.
- Understand and used DisruptOps, Policy Optimizer.
- Ability to work nights and weekends during designated time
periods.
- Hands-on experience with multiple network-computing hardware
components including routers, switches, firewalls,
load-balancers.
- Working knowledge of network routing protocols.
- Experience with desktop operating systems and server
environments desirable.
- Experience with FireMon application implementation technology
is a plus.Education RequirementsBachelor's degree with a minimum of
5-8 years information technology experience which should include at
least 4-6 years telecom/networking experience in fast-paced
environment.CURRENT TS SECURITY CLEARANCE IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE FOR
SOME OF OUR CLIENTS.Salary$75,000 - $130,000 depending on
