Job Description:
Job DescriptionROLE REPONSIBILITIES * Develops manufacturing
processes including the design and manufacturing of tooling and
equipment (automated and semi-automated). * Monitors yield and
productivity levels for assigned products. * Identifies and
executes manufacturing cost reduction measures. * Analyzes work
force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout
of equipment and material flow to maximize efficiency * Generates
Bill of Materials and Routings and write detailed work
instructions. * Generates Document Change Notices (DCN) to change
drawings and procedures. * Conducts Design of Experiments. *
Confers with management, engineering and other staff regarding
manufacturing capabilities, quality, production schedules and other
considerations to facilitate production processes. * Coordinates
activities to transfer manufacturing processes to other
manufacturing locations. * Aids in set up and pre-production runs
for products in-house and at other manufacturing locations. *
Develops cost estimates for capital equipment expenditures. *
Performs failure analyses and documents resulting in written
reports. * Applies statistical methods to monitor manufacturing
performance.
