Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Jim Thorpe, PA. This contract role offers roughly 20 hours per week, primarily between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, starting January 12, 2026, and ending June 5, 2026. The position supports evaluations and direct speech therapy services, including assisting with make-up sessions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct speech and language evaluations for students. - Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs. - Assist with make-up sessions to ensure compliance with service delivery. - Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student progress. - Maintain accurate documentation according to school and state regulations. Qualifications and Experience: - Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current PA SLP certification. - Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. - Previous experience working as a school-based SLP. - Ability to work part-time hours within the 8 AM to 3 PM timeframe. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Commitment to student-centered therapeutic approaches.
