School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
district in York, PA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist on a
contract basis to support student mental health and academic
success. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to work
collaboratively with educators, families, and students in a vibrant
school setting. Responsibilities include: - Conducting
comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students
learning needs and social-emotional challenges - Collaborating with
teachers and parents to develop effective intervention plans and
behavioral strategies - Providing crisis intervention, counseling,
and referrals to community resources as needed - Participating in
multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education
programs (IEPs) - Monitoring student progress and adjusting plans
to optimize outcomes Qualifications: - Masters or Doctoral degree
in School Psychology or related field - Valid state certification
or licensure as a School Psychologist - Experience conducting
psychological assessments and interpreting results - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with
students, families, and school staff - Knowledge of special
education laws and procedures is preferred Location: York,
