H&K Group, Inc., a premier provider of construction materials and services in the Mid-Atlantic region since 1968, is seeking a skilled Crane/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the success of our operations, involving the safe and efficient handling of heavy machinery used in construction projects. The operator will handle equipment such as cranes, excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery to assist in the delivery of high-quality construction solutions. Operate various types of heavy equipment including cranes, bulldozers, excavators, and loaders in accordance with safety protocols. Inspect machinery before and after use, conducting maintenance checks and notifying the maintenance team of any issues. Collaborate with other crew members to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner. Follow project specifications and plans under the direction of the site supervisor. Maintain accurate operation logs and records of maintenance checks. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site. Proven ability to operate various types of heavy equipment. Strong understanding of construction procedures and safety practices. Excellent coordination and mechanical skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid crane operator certification preferred. Additional certifications such as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are highly advantageous.
