Job Description Build Your Career with Ashley! \n Power Industrial Vehicle (PIV) Maintenance Technician \n (This is a safety sensitive role) \n What Will You Do? \n The PIV Maintenance Technician will provide preventive maintenance in support of department and company goals. This position will conduct preventive maintenance processes and procedures while providing the necessary technical expertise that achieves and increasingly affecting operation. \n \n Upkeep, maintenance, and repair of all PIV equipment \n Effectively manage conflicting priorities for PIV repair \n Work closely with all supervisors and managers to ensure all troubleshooting equipment errors will be corrected quickly \n Oversee PIV preventive maintenance for entire facility \n Order all necessary supplies from approved vendors through MRO purchasing, coordinate urgency, and priority with purchasing \n \n What Do You Need? \n \n 2-year degree in an electrical-mechanical or similar focus, preferred \n Prior experience with PIV maintenance \n Well-rounded electrical and mechanical background \n Electrical experience including repairs of broken wires, fatigues switches, etc. \n Knowledge of working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems \n Ability to use all shop tools, and testing and measuring equipment \n Ability to run an electric meter \n \n \n Spare Parts and Inventory Management: \n \n Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance and repair work. \n Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and part replacements. \n \n Documentation and Reporting: \n \n Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities. \n Use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track and complete maintenance work orders. \n Contribute ideas for improvements in all areas using the appropriate means of communication. \n \n Team Collaboration: \n \n Work closely with operations and production teams to understand and address maintenance needs. \n Collaborate with external service providers and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks. \n Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed. \n Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions. \n \n \n Who We Are \n At Ashley, we’re more than a business…we’re family.
