Specialist Location: 100% Remote (Equipment Provided) Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST Contract Duration: 6 Months
(with potential for permanent placement) About the Role: We are
seeking Patient Account Specialists to join a growing team in a
fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for individuals with
strong customer service skills and experience in healthcare account
management. You will be responsible for answering inbound calls
from providers, health plans, and members regarding eligibility,
benefits, claims, coverage, and authorization of services. Key
Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls via ACD phone system.
Provide accurate information on eligibility, benefits, claims, and
referral status. Assist providers with resolving issues related to
claims, authorizations, and eligibility inquiries. Explain programs
and procedures clearly to callers and address claim payment
questions. Required Skills & Experience: Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10,
and HCPCS codes . Experience with HCFA1500 and UB04 billing forms .
Familiarity with Epic, EMR/EHR systems , and medical terminology.
Precertification knowledge and inbound call experience. Strong
attention to detail and commitment to data integrity. High School
Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Previous remote
work experience is a plus! Nice to Have: Background in health
information management. Experience in a healthcare call center

Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
