Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz (BSSF), a premier accounting and business advisory firm, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper to join our team in Lancaster, PA or Camp Hill, PA!This is a permanent, full-time position that will be responsible for general bookkeeping, payroll processing and taxes, tax return preparation and other administrative associated duties for a book of clients in a variety of industries.The position is based out of our Camp Hill, PA or Lancaster, PA office and travel to client locations in the area is also required on an as needed basis.Required SkillsThe ideal candidate will possess:* Associate Degree in Accounting preferred* Superior communication skills* Ability to travel to clients as needed* Strong time management skills* Desire and ability to grow and advance in this role* Ability to work independently & as part of a teamExperience:* 3 yrs bookkeeping experience* Prior payroll & payroll tax processing required* Sales tax experience* QuickBooks (including QB's Online) experience requiredRequired ExperienceOur success as a firm is dependent on our mission to help people achieve extraordinary outcomes, especially our team members.
