Job Description:
This part-time year round position will assist in the Retail area(s) at The HERSHEY Museum, The Hershey Story. The pay rate for this position is $7.50. Job Functions: Operating a cash register. Maintaining checks and balances for your register during a scheduled shift. Stocking shelves and maintaining the cleanliness of the retail area. Opening and closing duties as required of retail area. Interacting with guests frequently and answering questions promptly and professionally. Ability to be innovative and creative with retail displays. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Additional Qualifications: Must have steady and reliable transportation. Must have basic computer knowledge. Must be friendly, able to work well with others, and gain knowledge of the HERSHEY Museum and surrounding properties quickly. Must be comfortable working with United States currency and the ability to safeguard confidential information. Working Conditions: Normal working schedule may include 15-20 hours per week between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with evening hours required during the summer season. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
